Leigh Johnson is a photographer and filmmaker. She has an MFA from Yale University. She lives and works in London.

Her solo exhibitions include Come Closer, Closer Please, Hard Shoulder and Lake Placid Ice Show at the Journal Gallery (New York), Filling My Pockets with Empty Spaces at Rivington Arms (New York), Gospel Oak and Queens Crescent at Farago (Los Angeles).

She has made imagery and film for many publications and numerous fashion clients and was the set photographer for Sofia Coppola’s film Marie Antoinette.

She has published three books to accompany her exhibitions at Paris Photo, Journal and Farago.
